2008 Suspension Agreement   ~   Fresh Tomatoes from Mexico

  Description:

On January 22, 2008, the Department of Commerce and producers/exporters accounting for substantially all imports of fresh tomatoes from Mexico signed this agreement suspending the antidumping investigation on fresh tomatoes from Mexico. The basis for the agreement was a commitment by each signatory producer/exporter to sell the subject merchandise at or above the reference price, which will eliminate completely the injurious effects of exports of fresh tomatoes to the United States.

Box Weight Chart  

  Description:

This is the chart of average weights that is used to determine the reference price for each type of box. If a signatory exporter/producer intends to export subject merchandise to the United States in a box for which there is no average weight on the box-weight chart, the signatory producer/exporter must send the Department of Commerce the "Form for Notification of Intent to Ship Tomatoes in Specialty Packs."
