FTZ Board Update - Free Grantee-Focused Webinars on Annual Reports and New Regulations

As part of our ongoing outreach and education initiative, we have scheduled the two new grantee-focused webinars described below. (Note: Although the webinars are focused on grantee functions, the webinars are open to anyone interested in participating. See complete RSVP information at bottom.)

The first webinar (March 14 at 1:00 p.m. EST) will cover grantees’ submitting their annual reports to the FTZ Board via the Online FTZ Information System (OFIS). This webinar is designed to supplement the OFIS training videos and tutorials which are currently accessible via the “What’s New” box on the FTZ Board’s website – www.trade.gov/ftz. The webinar content will be specific to grantees’ reviewing operator reports and filling out and submitting their annual report to the FTZ Board using OFIS.

The second webinar (March 22 at 1:00 p.m. EST) will cover various aspects of the FTZ Board’s new regulations that are likely to most directly affect grantees (including simplified application requirements and procedures, plus the public utility and uniform treatment provisions).

RSVPs are required for each of these webinars. Please RSVP to ftz@trade.gov.

The deadline to RSVP for the March 14 OFIS webinar is March 13.

The deadline to RSVP for the March 22 Regulations webinar is March 21.

Each RSVP should include the individual’s name and e-mail address. Prior to the webinar, participants will receive an e-mail with the call-in number and passcode to be used to access the webinar.
