FTZ Update - free webinars on proposed regulations

PLEASE SHARE THIS UPDATE WITH YOUR FTZ OPERATORS, USERS AND OTHERS WHO MAY BE INTERESTED IN THE FTZ PROGRAM.

As part of the FTZ Board’s series of educational events pertaining to the proposed revised FTZ regulations, we will be conducting free webinars. The webinars are for FTZ grantees, operators, users, and anyone else interested in the FTZ program, and will allow ample opportunity for questions. RSVPs are required for the each webinar (see details below).

The two webinars currently planned have different primary focuses:

April 5 - 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. (EDT) - Webinar focused on proposed changes for FTZ manufacturing and processing activity.

April 7 - 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. (EDT) - Webinar focused on the public utility and uniform treatment sections of the proposed regulations

RSVP to ftz@trade.gov no later than two days prior to the event. Each RSVP should include the individual’s name and e-mail address. Prior to the webinar, participants will receive an e-mail with the call-in number and passcode to be used to access the webinar.
