FTZ Board Update: problem with recent requests for OFIS operator accounts

Our staff recently discovered an error related to grantees’ requests for new operator accounts in the Online FTZ Information System (OFIS). Specifically, any requests to create an operator account submitted by a grantee through OFIS from the end of April until early September were not received by our office. The error has now been fixed and we are receiving new operator account requests through OFIS.

If you are a grantee that submitted a request for a new operator account in OFIS during the period in question (late April through early September 2013) and you did not receive a response, we ask you to resubmit the request in OFIS or to contact our staff to confirm if the request was received (as a reminder, we will always copy the grantee when a new operator account is set up).

We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any questions please contact Liz Whiteman (202-482-0473, Elizabeth.Whiteman@trade.gov) or Marsha Foust (202-482-5832, Marsha.Foust@trade.gov).
