Free Grantee-Focused Webinars

As part of our ongoing outreach and education initiative, we have scheduled the two grantee-focused webinars described below. (Note: Although the webinars are focused on grantee functions, the webinars are open to anyone interested in participating. See complete RSVP information at bottom.)

The first webinar (February 26 at 1:00 p.m. EST) will cover the requirements and considerations under the FTZ Board’s revised regulations for a grantee’s “zone schedule” (which lists the zone’s fees and policies).

The second webinar (March 14 at 1:00 p.m. EST) – which was announced in an earlier email – will cover grantees’ submitting their annual reports to the FTZ Board via the Online FTZ Information System (OFIS). This webinar is designed to supplement the OFIS training videos and tutorials which are currently accessible via the “What’s New” box on the FTZ Board’s website – www.trade.gov/ftz. The webinar content will be specific to grantees’ reviewing operator reports and filling out and submitting their annual report to the FTZ Board using OFIS.

RSVPs are required for each of these webinars. Please RSVP to ftz@trade.gov.

The deadline to RSVP for the February 26 webinar on zone schedules is February 22.

The deadline to RSVP for the March 14 webinar on grantees’ annual reports/OFIS is March 12.

Each RSVP should include the individual’s name and e-mail address. Prior to the webinar, participants will receive an e-mail with the call-in number and passcode to be used to access the webinar.

Finally, we are planning to hold additional free webinars later in 2013 on topics of interest to the FTZ community. We would like to hear what topics would be most interesting or useful for you. Please respond to ftz@trade.gov with any FTZ Board-related topics (large or small) that you would like to learn more about this year.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office at (202) 482-2862 or ftz@trade.gov.
