November 19, 2003
To All Interested Parties: On November 13, 2003, and November 17, 2003 the Department of Commerce sent you letters requesting information regarding an antidumping duty petition (“Petition”) filed by the American Furniture Manufacturers Committee for Legal Trade and its individual members and the Cabinet Makers, Millmen, and Industrial Carpenters Local 721 (“collectively, Petitioners”). Specifically, each letter stated that because the Petition has not established that domestic producers or workers accounting for more than 50 percent of the total production of the domestic like product support the petition, the Department must poll or otherwise determine industry support for the petition by the industry. In Attachment II of that letter, the Department provided a set of six questions with regard to your production of wooden bedroom furniture. After a careful review of Attachment II of the November 13, 2003 letter and Attachment I of the November 17, 2003 letter, we have revised the questions. The revised questions are enclosed at Attachment I. In addition, the Federal Register notice included in the original package has been revised. The revised version of Federal Register notice included in this package will be published in the Federal Register. All responses to the November 13, 2003 letter and November 17, 2003 letter and this letter are now due no later than November 26, 2003. For your convenience, we have also included the certificate of accuracy in Attachment II which must be faxed along with your response. If you have any questions regarding this letter, please contact us by phone at 202-482-3902, via fax at 202-482-9089, or via email to the following address: bedroomfurniture@trade.gov Sincerely, Robert A.
