Expansion of Foreign-Trade Zone 38; Spartanburg County, SC

    Pursuant to its authority under the Foreign-Trade Zones Act of June
18, 1934, as amended (19 U.S.C. 81a-81u), the Foreign-Trade Zones Board
(the Board) adopts the following Order:
    Whereas, an application from the South Carolina State Ports
Authority, grantee of Foreign-Trade Zone No. 38, for authority to
expand its general-purpose zone in Spartanburg County, South Carolina,
within the Greenville/Spartanburg Customs port of entry, was filed by
the Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ) Board on October 29, 1993 (Docket 53-93,
58 FR 59236, 11/8/93) (Amendment: 59 FR 29983, 6/10/94);
    Whereas, notice inviting public comment was given in the Federal
Register and the application has been processed pursuant to the FTZ Act
and the Board's regulations; and,
    Whereas, the Board has found that the requirements of the Act and
the regulations are satisfied, and that approval is in the public
interest;
    Now, therefore, the Board hereby orders:
    The grantee is authorized to expand its zone as requested in the
application, as amended, subject to the Act and the Board's
regulations, including Section 400.28.
