Application
for Subzone Status for Carolmet, Inc.

Notice is hereby given of the withdrawal of the application submitted by
the Department of Commerce of the State of North Carolina, grantee of FTZ
66, requesting special-purpose subzone status for the germanium lens blank
manufacturing operation of Carolmet, Inc., located in Scotland County,
North Carolina. The application was filed on December 1, 1987 (52 FR 47438,
12/14/87).
The withdrawal is requested by the applicant because of changed
circumstances, and the case has been closed without prejudice.
