                              (Order No. 575)

  Designation of New Grantee for Foreign-Trade Zone 35, Philadelphia, PA;
Proceedings of the Foreign-Trade Zones Board, Washington, DC

                         Wednesday, April 29, 1992

Resolution and Order

Pursuant to its authority under the Foreign-Trade Zones Act of June 18,
1934, as amended (19 U.S.C. 81a-81u), and the Foreign-Trade Zones Board
Regulations (15 CFR part 400), the Foreign-Trade Zones Board (the Board)
adopts the following Order:

The Board, having considered the matter, hereby orders:

After consideration of the request with supporting documents (Docket 2-92)
of the Philadelphia Port Corporation (PPC), grantee of Foreign Trade Zone
35, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for reissuance of the grant of authority
for said zone to the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority, a Pennsylvania
municipal corporation, which has assumed the functions of PPC, including
the sponsorship of FTZ 35, (subject to approval of the FTZ Board), the
Board, finding that the requirements of the Foreign-Trade Zones Act, as
amended, and the Board's regulations are satisfied, and that the proposal
is in the public interest, approves the request and recognizes the
Philadelphia Regional Port Authority as the new grantee of Foreign-Trade
Zone 35.

The approval is subject to the FTZ Act and the FTZ Board's regulations (as
revised, 56 FR 50790-50808, 10/8/91), including § 400.28. The Secretary of
Commerce, as Chairman and Executive Officer of the Board, is hereby
authorized to issue an appropriate Board Order.

Signed at Washington, DC, this 23d day of April, 1992.

Alan M. Dunn,

Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Enforcement and Compliance,
Chairman, Committee of Alternates,
Foreign-Trade Zones Board.
