Transfer of Subzone Designation for Foreign-Trade Subzone 53A, General
Motors Corp. Auto Assembly Plant, Oklahoma City, OK

TEXT: Pursuant to its authority under the Foreign-Trade Zones Act of June
18, 1934, as amended (19 U.S.C. 81a-81u), and the Foreign-Trade Zones Board
Regulations (15 CFR Part 400), the Foreign-Trade Zones Board (the Board)
adopts the following Order:

After consideration of the request with supporting documents (Docket
26-87, filed September 18, 1987) from the City of Tulsa-Rogers County Port
Authority, grantee of Foreign-Trade Zone 53, Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a transfer
of the grant of authority for Subzone 53A at the General Motors Corporation
auto assembly plant in Oklahoma City to the Oklahoma City Port Authority,
grantee of Foreign-Trade Zone 106, which has concurred in the request, the
Board, finding that the requirements of the Foreign-Trade Zones Act, as
amended, and the Board's regulations are satisfied and that the proposal
is in the public interest, approves the request and recognizes the Oklahoma
City Port Authority as the new grantee of the General Motors subzone. The
designation of the site is changed from Subzone 53A to Subzone 106A.

Signed at Washington, DC this 15th day of August 1988.
