TEXT: The period for comments on the above case, involving the proposed 
special-purpose foreign-trade subzone for the home appliance assembly plants
of Maytag Corporation, Newton, Iowa, Galesburg, Illinois, and Herrin, 
Illinois (53 FR 16303, 5/6/88), is extended to July 26, 1988, to allow 
interested parties additional time to comment on the proposal. 
 
   Comments in writing are invited during this period. Submissions should 
include 5 copies. The public record will be available at: Office of the 
Executive Secretary, Foreign-Trade Zones Board, U.S. Department of Commerce,
