Proposed Subzone at Mitel Semiconductor Plant, South Burlington, Vermont --
Application Withdrawn
TEXT: The application submitted to the Foreign-Trade Zones Board (the Board) by
the Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation (GBIC), grantee of Foreign-Trade
Zone 55, requesting subzone status for a section of the new manufacturing plant of
the Mitel Semiconductor Division of Mitel Corporation, South Burlington, Vermont,
has been withdrawn by the applicant. It was formally filed on April 14, 1983 and
notice was given in the Federal Register on April 28, 1983 (48 FR 19191).
The reason for the withdrawal is that Mitel has changed its plans to conduct
operations at the plant in question.
